A family friendly event (children under 12 are admitted for free) with animals and demonstrations of fiber arts, sheepdog herding exhibition, many vendors selling fiber and finished goods, used equipment sale and more! Stop by to visit our mama sheep and her lambs too!

This is a picturesque country fairgrounds and often the foliage colors are beautiful. We will have new products to offer and favorites to stock up on for your winter spinning and knitting projects. There are Festival Shepherd Workshops that are designed to educate owners – and future owners – of small ruminants. These talks are free and no registration is necessary. Vermont Sheep and Wool Festival
September 30th & October 1st 2023
at the Tunbridge Fairgrounds in Tunbridge, Vermont 05077
The 2023 New York State Sheep and Wool Festival, “Rhinebeck“, is one of the largest annual gatherings for fiber art enthusiasts in the country. It is always held the third full weekend in October, this year that will be the 21st and 22nd . We love having a booth there! It is an amazing event! We will have a great selection of handwoven rugs, handspun yarn, our sheep horn buttons and more. There are workshops during that week before, and during the festival, sheep shows, live music, 100’s of vendors, beautiful foliage in the Hudson Valley and all sorts of family events. It is wise to book a reservation early if you plan to stay in the area. We are in the lower level of the Horticulture Building, on the left as you come in the big doors. If you have never been to the festival, you really should come at least once, and if you have been before, I hope to see you again.
