Icelandic Ewes

Our flock is tested for OPP and all results have been negative . We are members of the OPP Concerned Breeders Society. There never has been any foot rot in the flock. We practice high standards of biosecurity in order to maintain the good health of the flock, the sheep we keep and those we sell.

But most importantly, we are the first flock in Maine to reach the 5 year certification level in the Scrapie Program. Please bear in mind that your farm needs to be enrolled in the Scrapie program to purchase AI first generation (F1) lambs or mature (F1) adult sheep. We can help you learn how to enroll in the program.

As always, we will offer discounts to folks buying more than two animals. We offer 10% on 3 animals, 20% on 4-6 animals and 25% for more than 6 sheep. Click here to get on our early selection list.. lambs are shown on the website but you will have first choice of your lambs before public sale, with your deposit going to your purchase price. You’ll have a limited time to make your selection, but your deposit holds your place in the picking queue. The deposit is 100% refundable if we don’t produce the color or pattern you’re looking for. To reserve an ram, contact us with the ram's identifying number. A 50% deposit will hold your ram at the barn until it is ready to travel. Longer boarding can be arranged. We also participate in several sheep shows and fairs around the New England area during the summer and fall, and transport of your animal to one of these venues can be arranged.
